Offshore recruitment built on fifteen years of Fiji talent knowledge
Sourcing candidates in Fiji is not the same as posting a job in Australia and waiting for applications. It requires an active presence in the market, established networks across industries, and the ability to assess candidates in person against the specific standards that matter to Australian businesses.
Our recruitment team has been operating in Fiji for over 15 years. We know the universities our candidates come from, the employers they've worked for and the professional pathways that produce reliable, capable professionals. When we present a shortlist, it reflects genuine knowledge of the talent pool — not guesswork dressed up as process.
OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS
We run the search. You choose the person.
Simply brief us on the role, and we'll coordinate every step of the recruitment process to deliver a curated shortlist of candidates we truly believe in, ready for your final decision.
Role briefing
The role is documented in detail, covering required skills, experience, working style, software proficiency, hours, and reporting lines. A clear and specific brief ensures a high-quality shortlist. You review and approve the brief before the search begins.
Search & sourcing
Our established talent network in Fiji is the foundation of the search. For specialist or senior roles, we also advertise through trusted local channels. The focus is on identifying candidates who are genuinely worth shortlisting, not just building a large pool of applicants.
Screening & interviews
Each candidate is rigorously screened. Interviews are conducted to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit for your organisation. Employment history is verified, and references are checked directly with previous employers. Written and spoken English skills are also evaluated during the interview process.
Shortlist presentation
A shortlist of two to four candidates is presented to you. Each profile includes detailed information, interview notes, and a clear recommendation. Only candidates who meet the highest standards are included.
Interview & select
You conduct final interviews with the shortlisted candidates. The process is fully coordinated, and we support your evaluation with insights and a debrief afterward. The final decision is entirely yours.
OUR SCREENING STANDARD
Six things we verify before a candidate reaches your shortlist
Our process is designed to protect the quality of what you receive. A shortlist is only as useful as the thoroughness behind it.
Technical skills
We assess role-specific skills and software experience directly against your brief. Claimed proficiencies are tested to ensure candidates meet the requirements before shortlisting.
English communication
Written and spoken English are carefully evaluated during our interview process. We focus on clarity, warmth, and how candidates handle professional conversations under pressure, providing a more accurate picture than a CV alone.
Work history
Employment history is verified through direct contact with previous employers. Rather than relying solely on written references, we take the time to confirm a candidate's experience and contributions.
Approach to work
We assess how candidates follow direction, respond to feedback, and take ownership of their responsibilities. These qualities are key to understanding how they will perform in a professional environment.
Availability and reliability
Start dates, notice periods, and competing offers are confirmed before presenting candidates. Our shortlists include individuals who are genuinely available and ready to move forward.
Technical setup
For office-based roles, workstation requirements are confirmed at our Nadi office. For remote placements, we verify connectivity and equipment standards to ensure candidates are fully prepared to succeed.
